Ok, I think I have recovered from the naming of the blog. So, here is my first "official" post:
It's 85 degrees, low humidity - and this after weeks of brutal hot weather here in DC - and I have just spent 3 hrs getting up on Facebook, Twitter, and Blogger. I also offered money to a work colleague to send me a bkite.com invite. I received instant gratification because now I have 3 more friends, and reconnected with two people I haven't talked to in awhile (one is a friend from grade school - no joke!).
And now that my pathetic social life has been bolstered, I think I will probably go out and try to intereact face-face with some live human being. Though sitting here on Facebook seems incredibly productive. LOL
And where is this "nomad" at today? Manassass, VA! Home to .... well, hell, I have no idea. But I do know they are having a wine and jazz festival "on the lawn" today and that seems like a fine next move.
